SportRenfrewshire
exists to benefit, give advice, develop and sustain “sport
for all” for its members locally, nationally and internationally.
We are one of the most active local sports councils in Scotland,
helping to provide opportunities to Renfrewshire sports people,
clubs and organisations at all levels. Encouraging participation
as well as helping to shape the future of “sport for all”
in Scotland”.
SportRenfrewshire
champions Renfrewshire Sport for All in conjunction with the Scottish
Association of Sports Councils www.salsc.org.uk (Our Chairman
is an executive member and chairs the Service Committee) and ISCA
www.isca-web.org as well as sportscotland www.sportscotland.org.uk

SportRenfrewshire is the voice of Renfrewshire Sport and Physical
Activity
We are the
Independent direct liaison and representative body for Sport for
All in Renfrewshire
SportRenfrewshire
is a voluntary organisation run by volunteers who are elected
at our Annual General Meeting to oversee the aims of SportRenfrewshire.
We send an email bulletin to clubs and those on our database at
least once a month with information on a whole host of topics
relating to sport at local, national and international level.
We also provide information and enable educational and vocational
opportunities for local sports people.
Never before
has the importance of sport at grass roots level been as relevant
as it is in today’s climate. Local sport plays a significant
part in any community and as such needs representation with those
who are charged with the delivery of community development.
SportRenfrewshire is that representative body.
